Summer Missionary in 2017

“I have seen God’s love this summer through working with Child Evangelism Fellowship as a summer missionary. During the eight weeks I worked, everyone I came in contact with was so kind and generous. I could see God working in their lives. God also worked in my life this summer and used me in more ways than I could have imagined. He used some of the experiences that I went through to show me that it is okay to get out of my comfort zone. Even if I don’t know what is going to happen, God does. At the beginning of the summer, I stated that I wanted to learn, not only how to share the gospel with children, but also learn how to share the gospel with anyone. Because of my training with CEF, I now feel more comfortable sharing the gospel than I did before because I know what to say and how to say it. For example, each day this summer, I told a Bible story to the children and wove the gospel into the story. I was able to present the gospel effectively in a way that captivated the children and helped them understand it. It was fulfilling to see the kids enjoy and respond positively to the gospel message. I enjoyed my missionary experience this summer.”
