Zonk

Zonk is a favorite of the kids and can be played in multiple ways. Put a certain number of cards in a bag. Label all of the cards with points except for one or two of them. On the ones not labeled with points write “Zonk” on them. To play, divide the class into two teams and alternate questions between the teams. When a child answers a question correctly, he/she may pull a card from the bag. He/she is awarded the number of points written on the back of the card. As long as he/she pulls out a point value card, he/she may continue to draw as long as he/she desires. However, if one of the zonk cards is pulled, the child loses all points for that turn! The team still keeps points from previous turns, only points from that specific turn is lost. The team with the most points wins.
